Terms of Service
Last updated 15 September 2026
These terms govern your use of the Raky app and this website. By using either, you accept them. Please read the section on what Raky is not — it matters.
Raky is not financial advice
Raky is a budgeting and planning tool. It does arithmetic on numbers you give it and shows you the result. It is not a financial adviser, a bank, a broker, or a regulated financial service, and nothing it shows you is a personal recommendation.
Whether a plan Raky produces is right for you is your decision, and one you may want to take professional advice on. We are not liable for financial decisions you make using it.
Raky does not hold, move, or have access to your money.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to it secure. The figures Raky works from are the ones you enter, so the plan is only as accurate as they are.
You must be at least 16 to use Raky.
Subscriptions and payment
Some features require a paid subscription. You buy it through the App Store or Google Play, which take the payment and hold the billing relationship — we never see your card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can cancel any time in your app store account settings, or through Manage Subscription inside the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are in.
Refunds are handled by the app store under its own policy, not by us.
We may change the price. If we do, you will be told before it applies to you, and you can cancel rather than accept it.
Acceptable use
Do not reverse engineer, resell, or scrape the service; do not try to break its security or access another user's data; and do not use it for anything unlawful.
Our content, your content
The app, its design, the Raky character and the software are ours. The information you enter stays yours — you grant us only the licence needed to store it and show it back to you.
Availability and liability
Raky is provided "as is". We work to keep it running but do not promise it is uninterrupted or error free.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits or savings. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your statutory consumer rights, which these terms do not affect.
Ending it
You can stop using Raky and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
Governing law
TODO: name the governing law and the courts with jurisdiction — normally where Raky is operated from. Note that consumers keep the protection of their own country's mandatory law regardless.
